My Actifit Report Card: November 6 2019
It was another nice fall day today and I met a friend for some disc golf. We played the local difficult eighteen basket course. This one is that I usually don't score myself on because some of the baskets are very hard to make par on.
We combined efforts and played with a best shot doubles scoring and ended up with a five over par for the course. I thought this was a pretty good score for how hard the course is.
I like this form of scoring when you are both having some difficulties with the course or playing with different skills. I think it fun to cooperate and learn different routes to the basket. It helps to keep track of where all the throws are going too. Plus you get twice the chances to make each throw.
Here's a picture of a tree and a playground on the disc golf course. I took this today with my smartphone and modified it with software just a bit to get the three versions you see here:
I rode my e-bike down to the course so that added a few more steps. It was a bit cooler this morning but not too bad for a short trip.
If the weather stays like this I should be playing a lot. Unless it gets super cold and snows or rains all day I usually like to get out there. I like to get outside at for some time each day and being in the woods around here brings me a lot of joy.
