My Actifit Report Card: April 29 2019
Today I did a lot of cleaning and played disc golf in the evening with my son. The weather was nice but there was a steady wind blowing. It was nothing too strong but it was enough to cause some issues with throwing.
Here's a picture of a sunset that I took a while ago when we went on a short camping trip:
Maybe I'll get a chance to get to do some more camping soon. It does get busy and hard to find the time for that sometimes.
I've been thinking about getting an EBike or modifying my existing bike to take a battery and electric motor. It would be nice to have some transportation for going to some of the hiking trails and disc golf courses that are farther away.
I'm not sure if I will get one but to modify an existing bike is not too expensive. This would give me a larger range of places I could go to without making me so tired that I don't feel like doing much except riding my bike.
Used to own a moped once and they are fun but dealing with mixing oil with the gas and storing it is not much fun. If you don't use the gas quick enough it degrades and causes issues. The spark plug was always fouling out and leaving me stranded. A moped with only one gear and heavy body is very hard to ride any distance at all if the motor does not work.
It seems like an electric battery and motor would be nice. There would be no need to worry about the gas and if the battery ran down I think the extra weight would be more manageable than a gas powered moped.

Great sunset. Vespa makes some cool electric models but they are not cheap!!
You may have already looked at this but if not, I owe it to tell you. My friend showed me today and I got my 10 bucks of Stellar Lumens from Coinbase. Some of the electric bikes are pretty expensive. The kits for converting a bike are much less. I would need to fix my bike up to make it roadworthy for longer, faster trips though. (Or at least fix the brakes - maybe, lol)
Oh, I already did the Coinbase free coins for video watching deal but thanks for telling about it. I think I ended up several different ones. That was a good opportunity to get some different crypto.

Lots of people use electric scooters in town. With all our new bike lanes, it is getting safer and safer to do so. I toy with the idea of going electrical but I do like my walking. Loved the sunset shot. Zen:)
I like to do regular bike riding too but I used ride motorcycles of various sizes. I kind of miss being able to go longer distances.
I can imagine. It helps for me to visit a lot of galleries and museums. It is like traveling far but walking to get there:)
Beautiful sunset! I wish I had more opportunity to go camping, such fun. The electric bike sounds like a good option for you. I've never ridden one but I see other people on them and they go zipping right along!

I have not seen anyone using them around here but they seem like they would be fun. I used to ride motorcycles and I miss that a bit so I've been thinking it would be nice.
I'm a motorcycle rider too! I sold my last Harley a few years ago, but my daughter-in-law will loan me hers any time I want to take a ride. I miss having mine in the garage though to take off whenever I want. I just saw an electric bike yesterday at my friend's house. He uses it to walk the dog, lol. She follows him along attached by a leash and they have a great time!
I have not rode a motorcycle in years. Sold my last one but kept my leather jackets just in case. The largest motorcycle I owned was a 700cc Yamaha. It was plenty fast. Regulations at the time made 700 the limit for some odd reason. (I wanted to get a 750 but they were kind of not so popular by the time I got around to purchasing one because of the regulation)
I guess Ebikes over 750 watts are not legal as bikes from my understanding. (I guess I would need to renew my motorcycle license if I got one of those 1000 watt ebikes, but maybe I can finally get that 750 I wanted, lol)
