New Hampshire primary hot take!

1. Warren is finished, and South Carolina will prove it.
2. Klobuchar is enjoying a brief moment in the sun that won't last.
3. Buttegieg's campaign is for real, so a small town mayor will become the Democrats' only hope of stopping a non-Democrat from winning the party nomination.
4. Sanders has successfully taken over the Democratic Party without ever becoming a Democrat, and our presidential contest this year will be between a right wing populist and a left wing populist, meaning America is doomed.
5. Trump's right, Bloomberg is a racist. If he somehow wins the Democratic nomination (despite being a Republican until two years ago), we'll have the lowest minority turnout in a presidential election since 1864.

If it’s Sanders vs. Bloomberg, this will be the first time since 1872 that one of the Republican or Democratic nominations has come down to two candidates neither of whom has ever won an election before as a member of that party.

That year, newspaper editor Horace Greeley defeated former attorney general and secretary of state Jeremiah Black for the Democratic nomination. Greeley was already the breakaway Liberal Republican nominee and not a Democrat. He then lost to incumbent President Grant in a lopsided landslide and died a month later, helpfully allowing Congress to establish the precedent that electoral votes can not be validly cast for dead persons.
