Decisive choices - decide between life and death
This is a very different post than the usual photography I normally share here, but I think this could be a funny story to tell, to share some skills.
I would like to say before tell the whole story that I'm quite delicate when it concerns the life of any living creature, even insects.
Getting back home from a family party, we attended at our friend place, me, my wife and 2 sons were driving back home at the local highway.
The speed was controlled by quite high, as normal at the highway, was 10 PM and the road was absolutely empty, no one was around, and the only lights were the one of our car.
Quite unfortunate, a rabbit decided to cross the road at the wrong time and at the wrong place, and I had no other choice than to hit if!
My wife asked me why I didn't turn or brake strong enough to stop the car and save the poor thing, but how I could do it without putting at risk the life of my own family?
At that moment I could think fast as light speed and different scenarios developed in my mind, then I simply decided that the life of the poor rabbit was not important as the one of my children, so after a small brake I didn't even try to turn, I simply let it be.
I hope you can understand.

You have good reflexes. Most people who see something out of the corner of their eye coming toward them will jerk out of the way. There is no question about avoiding it, you made the right decision.

Well,I think it is normal to sacrifice somethings sometimes,the life of a mere rabbit isn't as important as human life,
And what you did isn't out of proportion..
Wait🙄..why am I feeling this way, why I'm I suddenly craving rabbit stew for dinner.
