My Actifit Report Card: June 22 2019
I got a nice large amount of bsfl in my bucket today. I was super excited about that's since the migration in my ibc tote is only 2 pvc pipes one on each side so it is not ideal for getting mass migrating larva but has been working very well. I built a harvest migration bin today I am going to setup tomorrow and shovel and large amount of larva into it since many are ready to migrate and I am also going to try a oil drain pain I have and shovel a smaller amount into but the overhang lip and single spout is very similar to a protapod and should self harvest pretty well on a smaller scale. I will just have to create a racking system for whichever I decide to run with to save space but I may go with a mixture even after adding a protapod or two since I have lots of livestock to feed and everyone loves free food.
