Who am I and why do I want to be part of the DaVinci team as a Translator?

Hello! my name is Leynes, I'm a 19 years old girl from Venezuela and I speak fluently my native language that is Spanish, in reading, writing, speaking and listening. I'm a Computer Technician recently graduated from the university, and I joined Utopian in january 2018.

Since then (and before the suspension of the category) I have worked as a translator and proofreader in only one project called PrestaShop, I was even in the top 10 as one of the most active translators and proofreaders for two consecutive months according to the Product Content Manager of this project. Actually, has been one of the best experiences I've had because I didn't think I had such a passion for languages and even, Utopian woke up in me the desire to study Modern Languages in the future for many reasons that I have been discovering along this journey. Now that the category has been reopened in colaboration with DaVinci Project, I would like to have the opportunity to continue providing good quality translations, help to other projects reach many more people around the world, work as a team and to be able to continue doing what I love.

¿Quién soy y por qué quiero ser parte del equipo DaVinci como Traductora?

¡Hola! mi nombre es Leynes, soy una chica de 19 años de Venezuela y hablo fluidamente mi idioma nativo que es el Español, en lectura, escritura, oralidad y escucha. Soy Técnico en Informática recién graduada de la universidad, y entré a Utopian en enero de 2018.

Desde entonces (y antes de la suspensión de la categoría) he colaborado como traductora y correctora en solo un proyecto llamado PrestaShop, incluso estuve en el top 10 como una de las traductoras y correctoras más activas por 2 meses consecutivos según la Manager de Contenidos del mismo. La verdad, ha sido una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido porque no pensé tener tanta pasión por los idiomas e incluso, Utopian despertó en mi las ganas de estudiar Idiomas Modernos en el futuro por muchas razones que he ido descubriendo a lo largo de este camino. Ahora que se ha reabierto la categoría en colaboración con el Proyecto DaVinci, quisiera volver a tener la oportunidad de seguir brindando traducciones de buena calidad, ayudar a que otros proyectos alcancen muchas más personas alrededor del mundo, trabajar en equipo y para continuar haciendo lo que amo.
