Escapism II (Photo series)

This post marks the second post of my 7 part series i would like sharing with you guys. The series, seven images taken with the theme of escapism in mind, will explore the feeling of escaping the stress and or pressure that comes with our daily lives. I feel like sharing this series now because i believe that i would intertwine beautifully with my other series i started a couple of days ago called ominaus where we visualize certain emotions and (mental) illnesses.

The picture i'm sharing today is sort of in the same style as the picture i shared with you guys previously on this blog (click here if you would like to read the pilot of this series) The attentive reader will notice that (just like in the previous post) the individual (me :D) is walking away from the camera, turning his back to us further empathizing on the fact that he is escaping from what is overwhelming him.

As mentioned earlier, this picture indeed looks a lot like the first picture i shared in this series. While this is true, i still love the images for totally different reasons. For example, i love this image for how clean it is, the color palette and the composition. I like the composition most because i looked at the way the hit show "Mr robot" used non-traditional compositions in order to tell their story, better known as "Lower quadrant framing" While i was just testing this kind of framing out for the first time, i absolutely fell in love with it, and i'm certain i will use it in a more extensive way in the future.
