My Actifit Report Card: September 3 2019
I went for a walk to check out footbridges that we have here in our town. There were lots of them when I was younger but then they started building bridges so cars and humans can use.
The first one I know of is in STOBOSA. Check out my blog about it.
I then headed to km. 5 to check the bridge going to Sitio Tebteb and passed by these along the alley leading to the bridge including the first photo above.
This is the bridge leading to Sitio Tebteb.
I took photos from both ends. I do not know when it was built but the path was of different material than I remember. The cables look the same.
The floodwall seems to be holding but it definitely needs to be rebuilt.
As I was leaving this bridge, the rain started to fall. I was at the state university when it poured really hard so I waited a bit.
When the rain was lighter, I continued to the bridge only to rain harder. I took a quick photo of this other bridge.
I did not know this bridge existed until recently when went for a walk with my family along this route.
This is my last photo of the day before heading straight home. I left home dry and came back drenched.
I arrived home and rested then skipped some.

Nice activity count, some nice old bridges there, I haven't seen many with that type of cable construction, here in South Africa, I actually only know of one!!
This is how bridges were made here. It can be scary to cross to some people because it sways but for us who were used to it, we can run through it 😁😁
