United defeats Chelsea by 4-0
To start the season, United registered a big win against the rival Chelsea. At Old Trafford, the new United's line up had a lucky outing and brilliant second half. But it was a debut to forget for new Chelsea manager Frank Lampard.
It could have been a completely different game but a lucky escape for United in a couple of occasions which includes Tammy Abraham hitting the post. In the other occasion, Emerson also hit the woodwork for United's pleasure. Between this, Rashford scored a penalty which he won after Zouma fouled him to give the lead to United.
Going into the second half, United was too hot to handle for Chelsea after 2 quick goals in an hour mark. Anthony Martial got the first goal after a good cross from Andreas Pereira in the counter. Just 2 minutes after that, Rashford got another goal to win the game for United. Debutant Daniel James scored the final to hurt more. All debutants, Maguire, Daniel James and Wan Bissaka had brilliant debut games at Old Trafford.
