Sentenced to 15 years in school, without possibility of parole.

in #education6 years ago

Children born this beautiful spring day have just been sentenced to 15 years behind school walls, the sentence is mandatory and is to be carried out as soon as they turn three. Kids in my country (Romania) aren't particularly wild or vicious. Our legislators in their infinite wisdom have decided today that it is for their own good and that's the Western trend in education and we need to catch up.

What this means is that as soon as they reach a certain degree of independence they're to be placed in an environment where they need to ask permission to go to the bathroom and they're expected to defer to authority, by answering Yes, sir/No, sir, without asking why.
Legislators say children have a right to education. To benefit from it they must give up on any other rights they foolishly thought they have.
Parents, too, are stripped of their right to decide what's best for their children. God forbid they'd take it into their heads to enjoy a beautiful day in the park, let their four or five years old run around like maniacs. Their right to education comes first, so they must spend their childhood behind bars.

This totally bleak building is the institution where my son was supposed to serve his sentence, spend a happy carefree childhood enjoying a ten minutes break on that lovely patch of concrete in the yard!
Conditions are pretty much sub-standard in most schools, but the infinitely wise legislators have not mentioned building new modern schools, as there are no money for that (not when you need to buy second-hand American weapons systems).

However, this is not about material conditions, it's about taking away children' rights. Placing a three year old in school, tell them what to do and when to do, day after day – they become institutionalized.
They're trained to obey and even if they do get out after serving their sentence they'll instinctively look for someone in authority to tell them what to do. And we have plenty of those- the government, the media – they'll tell them what to do. It's not even complicated – work, pay taxes, die.

The overuse of quotes and images from 'The Shawshank Redemption' is intentional. I keep seeing Morgan Freeman working at the supermarket, trying to catch the eye of his supervisor, asking for permission to pee.

How right you are!

Of course, you will find some of those who have higher than average intelligence being stifled so the group is more easily managed. This will make them question harder why things are off, and if their parent(s) are asked they will likely give the propaganda that will create a rift between child and parent. The child will grow to hold animosity as the feeling of betrayal grows stronger year after year, until what may have been one of that countries/the worlds assets is a rebel, their hate for the machine tainting their soul to an extent that is robs them of ever channeling their genius for the best.

The war to stamp out the soul of the cattle will not tolerate escape, and it is well past time for the common man and woman to understand this is a war.

That type of education has its consequences...

It's a coincidence that i posted a series about how our current education system has messed up our minds in a way to almost blindly obey corrupt leaders and not exercise our critical thinking:

Some people would not agree about having a true democracy because it has its evident flaws, but with a different education system lots of things could change in the world.

Very good posts - thanks for the links! The problem they rely on this education system to raise good citizens, which is why they don't allow it to change for the better, on the contrary. After I posted this I read about France also making public education mandatory from the age of three.

What's insane about the whole process is that the politicians then wonder why students don't thrive in society! They take away the walls at 18 and then excpect them to find their way and be creative and innovative within the workplace and society. It's maddening.

This global trend is definitely frustrating. So many bad things happening at so many different levels all at the same time.

It is very frustrating as we've been waiting for years for some law allowing homeschooling - which is a growing trend in my country, but I don't know if it's ever going to happen. The only good thing is that the system here is not operating like in the West - there are loopholes, you can stay under the radar if you want, but I have no doubt that in a few years the errors in the system will be rectified.

Unless we can get our act together here in the U.S. I have seen a growing number of people from outside of the U.S. supporting those of us trying to stop the globalist pushing the U.S. because they feel if we can do that there is hope that we can help turn the tides in other places as well.

While every nation should make sure their own citizens are cared for first, that does not mean they can't also help other nations if they want that help. We simply shouldn't be taking care of other nations while neglecting our own people.

That is true of any nation.

So if we can stop this globalist push I suspect we can turn the U.S. away from being the world's bully and back to being the world's friend.

We are trying. It could get bloody.

The US are setting the trend for the time being so whatever happens there will affect a lot us. As far as education is concerned, from what I've read lately, there are some bills aimed at restricting homeschooling.
As for the US global policy, in recent times most of the countries they helped hadn't exactly asked for any help.
And I have a feeling that your decision makers are not neglecting the American people.
American citizens are being taken care of, probably not the care you had in mind, unfortunately.

Well the liberal bastions (Cities controlled by Democrats) have rapidly growing homeless populations (i.e. the citizens) while they declare themselves sanctuary cities to give Illegal Immigrants safety and invite them to stay. So while they see the citizens increasingly becoming homeless, they are inviting in people who are essentially invaders to feel safe there. I say invaders as they were not officially/legally invited into the U.S. Technically they are criminals as they broke the law just by how they chose to enter the country. These Democrat controlled bastions are pushing to shelter these people and spending vast sums to fund taking care of these people while the number of actual citizens being taken care of is in decline.

They also make defecation and urination legal on the streets and the homeless situation combined with that are creating areas where illnesses such as hepatitis and others are on the rise simply due to the sanitation issues. There are literally poop map apps for mobile phones so people can try to avoid areas with human feces.

This is only happening in Democrat controlled areas.

These are also the areas with the most gun violence, and other violence while often having the most strict gun laws in the country.

in recent times most of the countries they helped hadn't exactly asked for any help.

Which is why I refer to the U.S. as a bully. :) I am a U.S. citizen.

Yup - increasingly the education system is part of a police state and a police state of mind.

after serving their sentence they'll instinctively look for someone in authority to tell them what to do.

After a full term of public 'education', it has taken decades to deprogram from this instinct. I'm still not totally detoxed from it. If someone dressed as an "authority" tells me to do something, it's really difficult for me to evaluate if I should do it or not - my instinct is to simply obey.

Obedience to authority is not a bad thing, but the inability to reason in situations like these can be disastrous.

@ironshield

I guess I was born lucky, had some sort of built-in disobedience gene, but I know many who spend their lives going by the rules.

Some of us a are weird. I am too. The education system did not work the way it was supposed to on me.

Hey friend... Excellent post! Much of why I homeschooled my kids... You should check out @informationwar and the #infromationwar tag. We offer an alternative to the MSM narrative and try to provide tools to help people counteract it. Don't be a stranger- I miss seeing your comments on my posts!!!

Thanks for dropping by and I promise to visit more often! :))
