has been a long time since I had a girlfriend. 1 year in jail after 6 months since a lady was in my life, and 3 years now, since I was released.

I am not going to identify the source of this recent flutter, but I can say that I pretty much knew I would have dealings with her, inevitably. And the aftermath, well, I am not going to get obsessed. I have no idea. I honestly did not expect it, though I suspected it... Suddenly, last night, there she was, and she wanted things from me, but mostly, me.

I have no idea what comes next but I have a heat inside me again that had gone cold. This little impish mistress tossed some fuel and sparks on it. I could so easily let her be my Queen. I don't think she wants that. I have no idea.

But my cheeks are all rosy and I am full of gladness at our encounter. Hopefully if not the caster of the shadow, this is a foreshadow.

That first little shower after the drought is such a delight, even though it is quite uncomfortable. I just want to bask in the glow for a little while.
