Powering up has always been a monthly routine of every legit steemian. No frowning faces will be seen on their faces but a happy and a successful face. Yes! Once you are a legit and active steemian, you will not regret once you will power up but you will be happy because you had added a life to your account through powering up. It's every steemian's wish, and that is to POWER UP!

✨Is there a need for us to power up?✨

For me, there's no need for us to power up its your own will. But you can get many benefits if you will power up. And if you are a true steemian, you will not be in doubt to power up.

✨Why do we need to power up?✨

Powering up has always been an important task for every steemian. If you wanted to grow, then you have to do your duty. I will be happy if I will get supported by curators, not because I can get money from it but because I will have enough steem to power up. And for me, I felt so good whenever I will do power up.

Aside from that, there were lots of reasons why I power up!

1. To help the platform grow.
   Yes, I believe that if we keep on powering up, we fuel the platform and we help them to grow and expand. And its us steemians who should do it and at the end of the day, we are the one who can benefit the platform's growth.

2. To attract curators.
   Curators will not automatically support you. They will check your wallet whether you made an effort of helping the platform grow. And I believe, if we keep on powering up they will absolutely follow us, and if we had created great entries they will not in doubt to support us.

3. To help in needs.
   The more steem the platform have, the more charities or the people who are in need will receive help. Yes, this is not just not an ordinary platform that you can earn but a platform wherein you can help others who need it. And that's my favorite part-TO HELP. I vlog/blog in any platform so that someday, I will have enough money to help esp those who are working in the streets or anyone who needed some help. Because I wanted that I can see some smile on their faces upon receiving even just a single snack from the stranger. Hoping for this🥰

And there were some other things we get in powering up.

So, today I will be showing you how to power up esp to those who are just new to this platform.

Step 1

Go to your steemit wallet.

Step 2

Since I only had steem on my wallet, so there's no need for me to convert. Just click the arrow beside your steem value, then click POWER UP.

Step 3

Then you encode the amount you wanted to power up. And since I only had 96steem, I power up everything.

Steem 4

Then you will be ask your password, just type it then after a couple of seconds it will go directly to your power.

And as of the moment, I now had 8,969 steempower. And my goal before the year ends is that I will reach 10k and will receive a DOUBLE DOLPHIN badge. Hoping for that someday!
