Wednesday Walk ~ Galaxy's Edge
#WednesdayWalk is a challenge started by @tattoodjay. The idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start.
The other day, my wife and I took a walk through the village of Black Spire Outpost, on the planet Batuu...better known as Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland. My wife's waiting on me, so let's get going
If I was a Star Wars geek, I could tell you what all these spacecraft are, but I'm not so you'll have to identify them on your own.
I do know that this next craft is the Millennium Falcon. It's the first ride at Galaxy's Edge, called Smuggler's Run. I've shared some pictures already of the views on the ride, but this is a walk, so move it along...
In the next shot, a rebel and a wookie are trying to fix a Resistance fighter.
And finally, another craft, perhaps for the land and not for space?
Well, I hope you enjoyed this walk. What I didn't show you were the restaurants and shops, because the photos all had too many people in them. The food is a little weird, so we ate back on Earth. We also forgot to make a reservation for Oga's Cantina. That's right, you can now get alcohol at Disneyland, with a two drink maximum. Maybe next visit...Soon, a new ride will open called Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, where you will witness a battle between the First Order and the Resistance.

Thanks again pixresteemer.
wow beautiful photographs of Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland. thanks for share with us..
Thanks. I’m glad you liked them.
Hi Jon. I have absolutely no idea what you were talking about. I am not a Trekkie or Star Wars fan either. haha... The installations/machines look interesting though.
I've seen every Star Wars movie, and I have no idea what I'm talking about either ;-)
MY Step son and his wife are big star wars fans they would have loved to visit there
I have watched the movies but dont know the names of all the ships though what a cool place to visit
thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :)
Thanks Jay! I bet your step-son and his wife aren't too happy with Disney getting Star Wars. I saw a cartoon of Mickey Mouse going to milk an emaciated cow that had a tag around its neck that read "Star Wars." Still, getting to walk in the village and shops and see these ships in person was really cool. We have one more day on our three day pass so we'll probably go back once the "Rise of the Resistance" ride opens.
I havent asked them about that I see them in a couple of weeks and I must bring it and see what they say
I do love the times I have visited Disney, that put so much detail into each area it is like being there

My son would love to go there. Who am I kidding, so would I. Big Star Wars nerd, here. Thanks for sharing you day. Could you imagine how hot it must be for that wookie?
Thanks for taking a look. It was 90 degrees that day, so I hope they pay the wookie extra ;-)
The one that I could recognise you named it... the Millennium Falcon! Drat! Lol... I saw most of all the Star Wars, except one of the last ones.... lost track of the characters by then...
I don't know much about Star Wars neither, but this is definitely cool place to visit. Great shots! Maybe someday I will visit with my grandsons 😊
