Sakrale Bauten können zum Teil etwas anstößig sein :-) Unser Kleiner meinte, da würde es sicher eine Toilette geben 😏
Die Kathedrale ist ein sehr gut erhaltenes Gotik-Renaissance Baudenkmal. Baubeginn der Kathedrale war im 14 Jahrhundert- beendet wurde sie im 16. Jahrhundert von italienischen und kroatischen Meistern.
Das Hauptportal, mit Merkmalen des romanischen und gotischen Baustils, ist ein Werk des italienischen Meisters Bonino aus Mailand.

Wer also mal auf der Insel Korcula ist, der sollte sich dieses kleine Schmuckstück nicht entgehen lassen.

Übrigens kann man den Glockenturm besichtigen, von dem man einen wunderbaren Ausblick über die Insel hat.

The cathedral is a very well preserved Gothic-Renaissance monument. Construction of the cathedral began in the 14th century - it was finished in the 16th century by Italian and Croatian masters.
The main portal, with features of Romanesque and Gothic architecture, is a work by the Italian master Bonino from Milan.

So if you are ever on the island of Korcula, you should not miss this little gem.

You can also visit the bell tower, from which you have a wonderful view over the island.
