MY FULL INTRODUCTION... Now, i think this is enough as a proper introduction for all STEEMIANS. Read and digest my Story, I'm confident you will always learn from it.
My name is Babatunde Olayinka (Kuboskeey), clocked 19 on March 9, 2018. From Osun State, Nigeria and I’m currently a blogger at Steemit.
I've been waiting for a day like this, and here it comes
So, I’m into freelance writing. A risk taker and a dreamer who loves football right from childhood and still chasing the fantasy, hopefully, this turns out to be a dream achieved through this platform. I’m always open to new offers for a footballing career in Europe or anywhere besides my Native Country. If you are the angel, I'd like to see you soon.
The first time I was authorized I had a deep impression on what to write as my introductory post, but I was not able since story writing is not a mere challenge. I do remember somethings but writing it might be difficult sometimes, I am not sure if this happens to you too?
Yeah, I’ve learnt about this outstanding platform, through a brother @nuges, and I think with this creative introduction (#ulog), I should be able to share my daily actions; views on sports knowledge by sharing my little experience in football as a Sport.
But, it will be bad If I didn't make a shout out to the person through which I know about ulog, in the person of @preciousimo. Thank you so much!
Also, a standing ovation To these men of virtue, the epitomes of love, and one of the kind-hearted people i am privileged to know; this men as I know them, spare most of their time making our platform (STEEMIT) an interesting place to visit.
Thanks for the opportunity…. @surpassinggoogle and Terry
Now, let's get to the real deal...
Warning: As a risk taker, I can be imitated, but I will advise you to study me well before jumping into this quest. This is because, whenever I’m angry or sad, I eat a lot, play football, and joke like nothing happened. I repeat this when I’m happy; I’m unpredictable because I cherish freedom. Can you do this either? Then you are capable of facing challenges in this Mama Earth.
I also attest to a saying as I have perceived it too. This world is a place littered with so many pollutants (challenges, grudges, hatred, envy, failures, deaths, injustice, and bad leaders just to mention a few; it is not full of beds of roses.
And, I believe in this quote Sometimes you have got to chase your dreams or change your status; you need to break some rules. Lest I forget, throw yourself away and not your brain or dream.
Throwing yourself away is vital among the rules of life. When you have discovered this, your life starts to change for the better.
My capabilities are little but I think are enough to serve as a golden entity for some Steemians out there.
What i wish to offer
I love football, I blog about sports.
I have had enough of tough experience, I can motivate.
I please myself with crazy jokes sometimes, I can make you smile.
I think I have some morals; I can transmit this onto your kids by sharing moral stories for teens.
Educational Status
I have just basic educational background, and my love for writing has equipped me to give out amateur write-ups, but sometimes imformative. I think over the years, my writing skill has improved, and I hope to learn more here.
I dropped out of school when I was 18, but still hope in the future if I could pull the bull by it's horn again. And, hopefully somewhere in Europe. Hehehe!!! I'm confident, this could be a dream achieved. Don't you trust me?
My STEEMIT Philosophy
With the little knowledge I have about this platform, I can see a greater future ahead, as the strategies adopted are excellent when it comes to improving The World and its contents (human). With this community, I hope not only to be a better individual but also an experienced blogger in the future … And, you are one of those that could make me achieve this (greatness)in here.
Think about the spheres of life in general; Steemit Ambassadors’ good intention to help individuals out-there is rare. In which, I'm also inspired to be a solution to some souls out there; maybe NOW or in the FUTURE.
I APPRECIATE ALL MY FOLLOWERS FOR MAKING ME WHAT I AM TODAY!
Note: It is normal you are challenged each day of your life when things get worse all you need is a smile. Then, you move on to the alternatives…. They are numerous (opportunities), but your success depends on your zeal and beliefs to be successful.
And, I hope my actions and articles (Suggestions) turned out to be a blessing in the end.
Some people directed these questions to me in my Amafeed's account, and the inspiration about the REAL ME came. And, I think sharing this might cover all what I have been trying to deliver since my first day in STEEMIT.
What does a typical day in your life look like?
Starts with Morning Devotion. I play football five times a week (every 5pm-6: 45 pm of the days). I write daily; anytime the inspiration comes. And, I show love daily by inspiring people around me. Most times with smiles, jokes and inspirational articles for some.
Still waiting for that typical day. A day when the Uefa Champions League will ring in my hear while I’m on the pitch. Lining up to play against an opponent team (that is the typical day I'm dreaming). And, you know? achieving this requires Change in Environment. I hope I can be able to achieve this through this community which is based on generous personalities.
What is one of the hardest risks you ever had to take? Did it work out well for you in the end?
Right from childhood, I have been a risk taker, I’ve challenged some natural phenomenon, and I think it will be hard to choose just only one as I have three to name here. Hopefully, these serve as a motivation for readers out there.
Football career
Football is one of the hardest risk I've ever taken. I'm still on it, although I don't know when it will be achieved but, I it is gonna happen ONE DAY.
Career injury: 8 years ago, I had an injury, which could have ended not only my dream but also my dear love for my career, but I conquered.
If anyone asks me why I’m I using an eye shield while playing football, I will say I am an example of an Ex-Netherlands footballer; Edgar Davis.
When I had this health issue (accident), it appeared to me as if my life has ended. I cried for months and was depressed for years. Interestingly, I was back again on the pitch of play after 16 months, but things were not the same as I left it before the tragic incidence. Unfortunately, I couldn’t calculate ball movement gain, I missed passes, I took wrong controls for long balls, and some difficulties I could not remember again. Yes! One more, I experienced pain all over my head.
In the end, through willpower and perseverance, I gained my skills again. Although, since then, I’ve turned a defender (side-back, center back or defensive midfield (4) rather than my initial position. Naturally, I was an attacker (11, 8 or 7) before the game-changer (heartbreaking occurrence) changed my story.
I will urge you to never give up, no matter how hard it is now, hard times will surely come to an end soon.
Education
Right from childhood, I was mistakenly found in a family without a silver spoon, and I think I will never make such mistakes again. Lol... Don't get it twisted, it is not worst to the extent you imagine
it to be just now; I found stainless steel and plastic spoons in my mouth.
My parents love western education but I insisted to move another way; I picked the sport (football). My Dad thought was always
"through western education, we are gonna be rich".
Sadly, I dropped out of school just a year ago, this is not because my parents are not ready to cater for my needs, but I can’t just imagine how hard it was studying with hunger, so I take a decision of working online, hoping this turns out a stepping stone to greatness.
Also, I wish I achieve two things at a time; I wanna study in any European University while chasing my dream. I’ve never had a second thought that my gamble will end up a mistake, as I’m always confident my dreams are nearer to be achieved.
Agriculture
As I left my parents since they are so sad I chose another part, I make my way into a village in Oyo State; Sepeteri. And, this was a huge step taken a year ago; I had two acres of cassava farm. I harvested the maize, but the harvest was not huge due to inexperience. I also fell victim of thieves after I harvested my maize; they stole my farm produce when I left the farm to hire a lorry in the village. And to carved it, herdsmen invaded my cassava farm several months after maize harvest.
Right now, I'm away from Sepeteri in search for capital to start up another farming business. When I get back to Sepeteri, I will show you the full details and sections of my farm, as I recently lost my pictures to malware; really painful.
I’m not the type that gives up so easily. Although I'm not financially gallant to plant right now, but I think everything is going to be alright soon. I hope to plant before the end of June, and this might be the breakthrough. April is gone already; I’m back to the farm again, but I cannot do it all alone.
I just wish to make it right this time around, as all I gained in the previous year was not limited to the experience on how to cultivate maize and cassava, but also the management to suppress pressure from herdsmen and thieves, I think the experience must not be wasted; I’ve really labored hard for it.
I think I'm talking to a dream chaser over there? Never listen to those who discourage, rather find a way to prove them wrong but never disregard all their statements, as you may find some useful ideas too.
Yes! This boy is specially created for dreamers, let's achieve it together.
I’m glad I’m still on my toe waiting for the next challenge. Any challenge that comes my way this time receives a huge blow worth 200 pounds…. Lol...
What inspires you to want to have a career in football? Did you grow up playing the sport?
Here, i have got to speak the truth. I love freedom and, since soccer is an occupation, I think it is the best chance God has given me to be free.
Also, I think the wages recieved is lovely for a man who comes from a family without a silver spoon. And, I truly love my parents even till now that I'm facing it all alone, I wish to be kind to them. And, I really want to change thier thinking about TALENT
THEY HAVE ALWAYS SEEN WESTERN EDUCATION AS THE SOLUTION TO POVERTY, BUT MY PERCEPTION CONTRADICTS THEIRS. I THINK WESTERN EDUCATION IS JUST A MEANS TO BE WISE, INTELLIGENT, AND BOOST YOUR CREATIVITY.
I have seen a lot of footballers who are also learned, but pick their talents over their education, I have always explained to them, but they are not ready to listen.
To add to this, I play the game right before I knew some exceptional talents that eventually boost up my skills. I started playing this game from childhood.
I could remember, I used to received lashes of canes from my dad, just to leave this game, but this has not been a hindrance to my dream.
Also, he discouraged me that, we only have eleven players on the pitch, why stressing yourself, but my replies have been always. I will be among the eleven if I do not give up. And, we always end our discussion with his reply I have no money to help you achieve such a fantasy.
And, within me, I replied “I will achieve the fantasy myself, don’t need to bother. If he hears this, I don't know what is gonna happen next... Maybe a slap...
I can’t just name the exact inspiration, but, I’m sure that there are some hidden facts about love. I love the game.* And, being a philanthropist would be nice, as it requires WEALTH, and not mere pocessions.
Okay, now I get it, the love I have for this game is my inspiration. And, I think my good heart too. Lol…
I don't even know what has came over me to have risked so much for this game.
What did you want to be when you were little?
Through motivation from my parents, I wanted to become an engineer. But, my dream was to be a footballer.
Although, right now, my love for writing triggers me to be an author in the near future; this has not hindered my footballing career, and I think should not.
Is there a professional football player that inspires you?
Ronaldinho; I love his driblling styles and agility
Christiano Ronaldo; I love his focus and positivity
Paul Scholes; I love his leadesrhip and passing ability
Paul Pogba; His strenght inspired me, also his passing ability is what i'm looking up to
Ivan Rakitic; His craziness and intelligence thrilled me
Yaya Toure; His box to box ability is amazing, also his experience is rare
Sergio Ramos; His zeal for goal and commitment to the team is what i have learned so far.
And, Marcelo; When a Left-Back has so many skills, i'm always impressed.
Is your dream to coach a football team one day?
That’s really a hard question to answer. But, you are worthy to be attended to. I wish to be around the arena for a long time. But, I prefer I achieve the one on my table before looking elsewhere.
After retirement, I love to be an inspiration for kids, rather than being a coach. I wish to have a football school for kids, but prefers to hire coaches to train them.
Here is another question that relates to this...
Do you yourself want to pursue career in football as a player or as a coach to kids?
Presently, I wish to be a football player, even if for just fifteen years. But, along the way, I think I can be of help utilizing the skills I have gained in football so far, to help parents that need an online coach for their kids.
Still hoping to make a video on Steemit, but, an adage says; where there is no money, no one should raise an objection to free projects. Lol...
I'm still contributing to buy some pieces of equipment. But, I think it's getting late already... Pathetic!
Besides writing and football, are there other hobbies you may have that you enjoy doing?
Yes! And that is "THE PES SOCCER GAME" I love it so well that my leisure times are filled with the amazement. Also, i dance but i'm not a good dancer.
I joke, read books or news and I love to draw, although I'm not a professional.
Where did you learn all of your skills for writing if you do not have an educational background in it?
this is funny and motivating. I laughed, maybe the person who asked this question did not read my Amafeed's Summary well.
I've never said I'm an illiterate, I said I have basic education, I was a secondary school graduate, hoping to write my WAEC maybe this year or the next.
And, I think determination and love has been the bedrocks to my writing skills. I Read news daily, and still study English texts till date.
What site do you work for as a freelancer? Do you work enough to make a full-time career out of it?
Fiverr, but still struggling to make some stable customers... Right now, I am investing my talent in both AMAfeed and Steemit. With Amafeed, I’ve not received any notification on how to make money, but still investing. And, I've got to know more on STEEMIT, although it still sucks, but I will soon get there …. I think.
Also, with Steemit, I make stipends to feed myself and buy data for browsing.
Yes! I’m hoping to earn my freedom through both. As a writer with a little knowledge of motivation, I think my expertise will soon turn into a valuable entity to these platforms. And, if you have any site like the two i'm presently working for; that do not discriminate, i'm open for any opportunity, Sir/Ma.
When did you start blogging? Do you do it to promote your activity as a coach or you just like writing? Has it helped you gain more clients?
I started like three years ago. Typically, I engaged in blogging so that I can improve myself and find a job that could keep me busy, as an adage says that "a delayed or idle brain is a devil’s workshop”
Eventually, Steemit and Amafeed open my eyes to the hidden coaching gift I have.
Still trying to develop a stream of customers, hopefully, I see here!
Do you have a favorite football team? If so, what team?
Yes! I do. My favourite team is Manchester United; a Premier League team in the UK. But, here in Nigeria, my favourite team is the one I train with. And, that is Zenith FC; an amateur club for aspiring footballers.
What's your favorite joke?
All my jokes are favourites
What are some methods that you find successful in motivating aspiring footballers?
THE SOLUTION DEPENDS ON YOUR PERSONALITY! Telling them, they are also a prospect who could achieve greatness in the sport is a solution and when you say it to their faces that they can also do it them better, makes them happy. Motivation, and story telling; how past footballers achieved their dream are tips to help them grow in this game.
Before we get started, I would like you to see this, not only as an answer to a question but as a means to know more about techniques used in motivating aspiring footballers.
Although, your success in motivating aspiring footballers is not limited to your technique(s), but also include your coaching experience, the resources available for you, your style, the level (age) of your players and the personality of each player are those things that will determine your approach.
I have no professional experience, but playing with my colleagues, I think has improved the way I motivate.
As a defender, most times, my colleagues always lament that my tackle is hard.
Although, I see this as the normal way to mark your opponent since we are playing against one another; even if we are said to be brothers off-field, while we are on the pitch the story is extremely different. I'm not a demon, I will never aim to hurt you, rather I will disturb you till you feel my power and think as if it supersedes yours. When you leave the ball out of aggression or discouraged, I take it.
If any question is directed to me as to say "why I’m I so hard", my answer will always be:
If you keep on being scared by my tackle, never chase your dream, because I’m still a learner to some great defenders out there” if you can’t withstand my pressure, how would you withstand Varane’s, Ramos’, Boateng’s, Smalling’s, Terry’s, and Chiellini’s pressures just to mention a few.
Also, I see all footballers as learners, even the professionals. I hate to blame, so any player who wanna adopt such a bad behaviour might have to fight me first, this is because I’m not perfect as well. My advice for all aspiring footballers is;
*feel free and enjoy your game, if anyone tries to discourage you through any form of destructive criticism, please reply such person that; Ronaldo misses shots not even once, Messi misses penalties not even once, a lot of strikers miss goals, even the great Pele.
Ramos, Pepe, Pique, Vidic, and Ferdinand just to mention a few all make mistakes that resulted in goals.
Van der Sar, Neuer, De Gea, Casillas, Lorris also concede goals.
Modric, Iniesta, Xavi, Scholes all had made lose passes, they were not disappointed, but they make sure they were always better in the next game. I will try and do that too, hopefully, I reach or maybe supersede those I mentioned*
Never blame, it kills, better you motivate.
And, make sure you don't play out of confidence, the fans might be angry sometimes, but enjoy your game.
Here, your love and understanding come in. If truly you love this game you will not risk stupid mistakes, and if you truly understand this game, people will see that in you, as you will receive either applaud or boo in return. Don’t stress yourself, football fans have both.
To add to this, I love telling stories, hopefully, you as a player could learn from it. I take a veteran or professional footballer as a case study, and we dissect his ability so that you could be inspired at the end.
Lastly, I love fun…. I might decide to play music for my future talents, and give a direction “as you play an accurate shot, a success dribble, accurate long pass, excellent decision, or a nice move please dance and be happy”…..
Just think of all the ways to make kids happy while doing what they want, I love to adopt them all. Lol…
How would you describe your philosophy about being fit and healthy?
Being fit and healthy is a necessity to all; God designed our body to befit each exercise we adopt. Being fit is life, life is being fit. They move hand in hand. Do you lack one? Then you are living in jeopardy. Kuboskeey, April 2018.
When was your “ah-ha” moment, of when you felt you were succeeding at what you do?
My ah-ah moments use to come to life when I discover new things. An example is when I discovered Steemit and Amafeed. I knew this are stepping stones to greatness (HOPE). But, I’m really in a hurry to achieve this (Greatness). Lol….. I know, a lot has to be sacrificed, and I’m ready for the challenge.
I’m not sure if I’ve given you the most comprehensive introduction, kindly pinch me; by asking questions in the comment box, if you are not satisfied with my replies, I would like to learn from you. I’m neither a Know-it-All Angel, nor i'm the type who disregard ideas. Correct me anytime you think I’m on the wrong path.
And thank you for reading it till the end.
I'm glad to have YOU, and I mean it.
I value your friendship, I hope it gets longer
Love You,
Kuboskeey

Hello @kuboskeey! It's nice to meet you! You are a strong man. Most of the people will lose faith after an injury that takes their dream away from them.
I will look forward to the pictures of your new farm. It will be very interesting to share how you managed with it. I am just starting to learn how to take care of plants and right know I only fight for the life of two flowers ( I am not really good at it), but really want to have my own garden with some vegetables and fruits maybe.
Good luck with your football career. I hope your persistence will be rewarded!
Thank you so much for the motivation. I also wish you good luck, but I'm into edible plants and not flowers. I wish to plant maize, sorghum, yam, beans, and cassava this year, although not on the same land, I want to segregate it, hopefully I have the capital to do such, as the perfect planting season will soon end in June, anything plant in july or August might be affected by drought, in which this may call for herdsmen visitation again. But if someone has planted in april, may or June, before August September it would have become bigger for those mad people to invade.
And I say amen to your prayer. Thank you once again, your dreams shall be achieved too.
Congratulations! Your post has been selected as a daily Steemit truffle! It is listed on rank 16 of all contributions awarded today. You can find the TOP DAILY TRUFFLE PICKS HERE.
