The bust of the young Taras Shevchenko with the "Kobzar" was opened in March 2014 to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great Ukrainian poet. Bronze sculpture is installed on an unusual pedestal, welded from antitank hedgehogs. The construction is located at the entrance to the Kiev City State Administration. The author of the monument is the sculptor Igor Grechanik.
