View from Taramati peak

Taramati is the third highest peak of Maharashtra State (1431 m ft above sea level). It is located atop the Harishchandragad Plateau. You can reach here after 40 mins trek from either Harishchandragarh or Kokankada. Usually it is very windy so it is necessary to carry a wind proof jacket if you want to spend time at top. The lake visible from here is located in Khireshwar village.
