A Different Kind of Silver This Time

in #steemsilvergold9 years ago (edited)

So, I bought a little silver but it's not in my normal coin/bar form. Instead I bought a necklace pendant (Before I knew about Menē!). It's from a company called QLink and is .925 silver.

Now, this is where it gets a little pseudo-sciencey, so feel free to give me crap. I work in IT and I'm surrounded by computers, electronics all day and it claims to help mitigate the harmful affects of electronics.

According to their website the QLink pendants "reinforces the body’s resonance, returning it to a clearer and more balanced natural state." It goes on further "Q-Link products are programmed with an array of natural frequencies that resonate with the body's natural energy frequencies. The resulting resonant effect is similar to the healthy, energizing experiences we have in nature, in positive interactions with others, and while participating in self-balancing, restorative activities." Source

Apparently there's science behind it and it's used fairly common amongst professional golfers, from what I've read.

I'm not 100% sold on the science part, but hey I got it on eBay for a pretty good deal and it's .925 silver. So why not give it a try?!

If you've ever used Q-Link products let me know what you thought.

I'm not so sure about the science, but just say "silver" and you have my full attention! Nice jewelry!

Agreed 😀

Silver, copper and gold all have known and documented health benefits. Certain frequencies are also well known in many ways to effect the body.
Now having said that, wether the pendant actually does anything or not is another question.

Either way, it looks pretty cool and it's sterling silver, so therefore I approve. I quite often pick up jewelry instead of bullion, cause it's often closer to or below spot!
Cheers KP!

Thanks, fat-Elvis!

It’ll be interesting if that stuff actually works.

Silver is great even if it doesn’t work!

That's kinda what I was thinking.

Looks like copper on the back side. Copper has had proven health benefits

Yeah I think that is copper. Good to know. Hopefully it does work :)

I wear a Hematite ring to prevent tension headaches. I was having a very stressful period and had a tension headache that nothing touched and a friend gave me one and said wear this for a day and see if it helps. It did, I have a draw full of them so when it breaks (they always do, they are a stone and are said to break when the healing energy of the stone is used) I have one on hand. I haven't had a tension headache since.

Cool, thanks for sharing!

Cool piece!
I don’t own anything but coins and bars myself. It’s kinda cool to mix it up👍
