Memories act as landmarks in my life, helping me chart the path I have traveled and envision the one that lies before me. The moments shared with loved ones, the successes accomplished, the challenges overcome, all of this contributes to shaping my identity. Each memory is unique carrying emotions and meanings that allow me to grow as an individual.

The best memories of 2023 were those spent with family, and each getaway brought a unique and enriching experience. The summer was marked by trips to the seaside towns of Rafraf and Korbous. Sunny days, feet in the sand, and relaxing moments by the sea created warm and relaxing memories.

The hospitable town of Bizerte has also left a memorable mark. The visit to the old port allowed us to explore the history of the region and enjoy its authentic charm. The old neighborhoods, picturesque streets and interactions with locals likely added a cultural dimension to family memories.

As we approach the end of the year, escapades to Tabarka and Beni Matir may have offered different experiences. Tabarka is often praised for its magnificent landscapes, between sea and mountains, while Beni Matir could have added a touch of adventure or exploration.

The worst memories of the year 2023, I perhaps experienced with the loss of a loved one, even if our meetings were infrequent. However, most of the memories from this year were of marveling at this person's kindness and hospitality towards us. The last of them was on his grandson's birthday.

That day, I clearly remember sharing a special moment with him. We decided to watch the World Cup final between France and Argentina together. The passion he had for football was palpable, and it added a special dimension to his birthday.

Comfortably installed in his living room, we shared intense emotions throughout the match. The tension, excitement and sometimes even disappointment created a unique atmosphere. The passionate exchanges about tactics, players and match highlights strengthened our connection.

Beyond simple sports entertainment, this experience was a reflection of how this loved one cherished the moments shared with those close to him. His joy of living, even in difficult circumstances, inspired me. This memory of her grandson's birthday has become a treasured reminder of how we can find comfort and joy even in seemingly simple moments.
