“Tsundoku”

Tsundoku is acquiring reading materials but letting them pile up in one's home without reading them in Japanese and the word became used in English.
I went to this used book store last Sunday. I never imagined that there are that many books in this store. There is a college near here so it must be very usual. My husband’s first comment was “Tsundoku!” Yes, this is literally Tsundoku. Surprisingly, this shop owner sounded like he knows almost all the books when somebody asked some questions. Amazing knowledge!! I stopped collecting stuff including books a few years ago because I wanted to become a minimalist. However, this kind of store makes me excited! Are you a Tsundoku person or not?

lovely capture, I like it.

Are you a Tsundoku person or not?

no. i have limited space capacity and almost (almost!) stopped buying books, but the library volume still arises from year to year. i dont buy books if i dont intend to read them. and I read them. ofc in lately years i mostly re-read the fave books that have been in my posession a long ago. and I often use to read 2,3, 4, 5 diff books at once - at least exerptts of them. thus I can have same pictures at my house: piles of books that seem scattered inaccurately around. it may look tsundoku, maybe... i dunno not sure 100%

Me as well. I have limited space so I can't have many books. However, I like to check book stores and libraries. I checked your post about books!

thank you. its a pleasure to have a bookaholic kind of person on that side :) that post was about my babygirl's current reading.
I think soon I will do one about my recent books, too. if i will not be lazy to write it (i already have taken the pics I will need for it...) (not sure if I used right grammar forms here... that damn sequence of tenses thing! feel free to correct me, please, if you will see the case...)
