“Dog Run”

I went to the Dog Run today. Since I moved out from an actual downtown area, my dog has a big yard and he loves it but he can’t meet other dogs easily. My husband found a nice Dog Run place. This was the second time to go there and meet many new friends.

“ドックラン”

今日はドックランに行ってきました。ダウンタウンから少し離れたところに引っ越してからというもの、わたしの犬は大きな庭で快適に走り回れてうれしそうな反面、近所の犬と会う機会が少し減ってしまいました。主人がドックランを見つけてくれました。今日は２回目のドックランで、新しい犬の友だちにたくさん会いました。

Am Wearing my new favorite scarf and am greeting my new friends. ぼくはお気に入りの新しいスカーフをつけて、友だちにあいさつしてるとこだよ。

Well, Yeah, I’m having my first body check. えっと、うん、まずはボディーチェックをうけるんだね。

Um..., kind of a scary feeling though. うーん、なんかちょっとこわいんですけど…。

Hey, guys. Can I join? ちょっと、仲間にいれて〜。

Well, you guys wanna play with me or not? えっと、ぼくと遊びたくない？

Oops, he is a grumpy man I guess. おっと、なんかこのシトごきげんななめみたいだよ。

He reminds me of my puppyhood . この子見てるとぼくの小さいころを思いだすな〜。

This igloo was created for this community event. People put candles in it. I think this small park is a wonderful meeting spot for everybody. Next to the Dog Run, there is a skating rink. There were many happy kids who were skating with adults.

このかまくらは地域イベントのために作られたようです。中にキャンドルを灯したようです。この小さな公園はとてもステキな集合場所です。ドックランの横にはスケートリンクもあり、小さな子どもたちが大人と一緒にスケートを楽しんでいました。
