The science of sexy!

Starting my Steemit post at 1:30a.m. How does this happen? It’s some intrinsic, subconscious need for @eveuncovered to wake up to my blog, I swear. I’ve been balancing work and @guthrie all day. I fit in a few games of Magic with a friend at @caffetto, but after my son [finally] fell asleep, it was more of the same. Trying to get caught up on clients I’ve owed for far too long. Trying to pull ahead just far enough to work on comic projects with @ghostfish and @lovejoy. A few hours of quiet diligence was good for me and I’m happy to share some work fresh out of Photoshop with everyone here.

Hey! Speaking of Steemit, before I get to the photography, thank you all for your commitment to the NetCoins listing. What an opportunity this’ll be for STEEM. If you haven’t already heard, we won! I was furious the night the contest closed. STEEM was 2,000 votes ahead, and in the closing 30 minutes, INS received 6,000 obvious bot votes. Alright, let’s get to the real reason you’re still reading. I’m sharing photos tonight of a beautiful, bright person that came in to my life through Instagram. Her name is Stephany and she’s the host of the Dope Science Show podcast. I’ve shared a few previous edits of Stephany but tonight was all about her in my workspace. Stephany and I have been following each other on social media for a few years. I, myself, am a gigantic science nerd and loved her enthusiasm and passion for science. She also has a deep appreciation for body positivity and the pinup scene, so we were destined to be friends.

One day, about a year and a half ago, I received a pledge on my Patreon at the $100/mo level! Honestly, when I created that tier, I didn’t really believe anyone would commit to that kind of support. The reward, however, after a year of patronage at that level, was a shoot together. That pledge was from Stephany and a year later, during my annual pilgrimage to LA and Vegas for Viva, I finally had a chance to meet with Stephy and photograph her at a beautiful space outside of Los Angeles. Everything thing was perfect and she was the first of 33 shoots in a two week period.

There are a couple more of Stephany to come from this shoot before she’s finished. I’ll be sharing those within the next two weeks or so.
