Lingerie in the library w/ Erika!

Dang. These posts are slipping later and later. Many of my friends in Europe and London are certainly reading this at almost midday. Once upon a time, I talked with @roadscape and @lovejoy about getting in to the witness game. I was told “…stick with what you know.”, and the advice was “…you’re a great content creator, and you’ll probably make more in content rewards.”. It’s nice to have smart friends, and I took that advice to heart. This is what I do, so the biggest commitment is just making time to post.

It’s 2:00a.m., and I’ve been working all night on editing photos. Most of my evening was spent batch processing [yuck] picks from the last La Femme En Noir shoot. I have to get these to @michelinepitt, who is one of the only people I’d let edit my photography, but it’s an arduous task. I have to hand select over 1,000 photos, then run them all through batch actions so they look like my work. It ties up my whole Mac and takes forever. After several hours, I needed to actually edit, just for my peace of mind.

These photos are from a shoot with a lovely Latina pinup in Los Angeles named Erika. The entire day, I was booked with back to back shoots. One of those days that just feel like a blur, but once Erika arrived, I remember have absolute focus on our shoot. She was quiet, and polite as we walked throughout the estate, giving her a tour of the many rooms and halls. She laid her outfits on the table and we decided to start in almost complete darkness in the main hallway. I was able to capture the seduction of the shadows quickly.

After utilizing the lamps in the dining room and hall, we made our way to the study; one of my favorite rooms of the entire mansion. I’ve shot there so many times, I’ve struggled to come up with original ideas for every shoot. During this shoot with Erika, though, an avid book reader and lover of prose, I decided to pull 1/3 of the library off the shelves and surround her with books. It was amazing to looks down and see such a visual spectacle. She looked amazing. Everything was perfectly in place.

I have one more set of images to finish for Erika so look forward to that in the coming weeks while I continue on this war path of catching up on owed work. I love being home and having time to focus on the post production of all of these shoots. Friday, I’ll be setting time aside to meet with @ghostfish and make some comic book progress with @coppercoins. Thanks for reading and supporting me here on Steemit.
