Exclusive first look at Dahlia and Elektra!

Good evening, friends! It always seems like I’m playing catch up […which I am], but recently, I’ve decided to make amendments to my workflow. Over the last month, I’ve been alternating, two clients I’ve owed for far too long […if I’m being honest], and one client within the last three months. It’s worked out much better. It’s part of an on-going strategy to get myself back to a normal workflow. I’m starting to see the light of day.

I typically try and post at least three images per Steemit update. Tonight, I was eager to show this first image from a shoot yesterday morning with Dahlia Dulclé and my longtime friend, Elektra Cute. I try and think of how to bring value to my Steemit blog, something beyond what you’d see following my Instagram account. I thought an uncensored photo of two of Minneapolis’ burlesque beauties would be a fitting way to do just that. Hot off the memory card.

I absolutely love shooting in Minneapolis! Almost all of my work is in New York or LA. I’m often asked, “…when are you going to move out here?”. I have a lovely home in NE Minneapolis and I adore this city. There is so much art and talent and passion. Elektra and Dahlia are some of the best in the Twin Cities, as inspirational and they are entertaining. I knew this was going to be monumental collaboration and within the first few photos, that was obvious.

I’ve been getting out from under this mountain of owed work, and as good as that feels, I also have tons of new photography to share […maybe even some illustration.
