Duong's Hanoi
Duong's Hanoi is the Number 1 Restaurant in Hanoi on Trip Advisor. Usually I don't go to the Number 1 restaurant on TA, as I find the ratings to be often not really true. A friend from Hanoi recommended the restaurant so I gave it a try.
Restaurant Impression and Food
I ordered a Passionfruit Cocktail and the Duck of the day and the Spring-roll Trio. The Restaurant serves you all kind of free appetizers, but their peanuts were so good. I had never eaten such great peanuts before in my life. The duck was kinda fusion style but perfect. I loved the fried spring roll, the raw spring-roll was not for me. The restaurant is not authentic food, but more Fusion Style very stylish and tasty Vietnamese food. I would recommend it, but I am certain that I can show you better food in my next posts. For the first night out on a date, I would recommend this restaurant highly ;)

This looks sooo delicious, that I directly looked up the closest Vietnamese Restaurant for me :D
I´m especially loving their coffee. It´s just so different from the western versions and tastes really good.
What is the yellow coral looking thing served with the duck?
Other than that I see Basil and something that looks like Polenta? Was it Spicy Basil Duck? :)
it was something like polenta. the coral was crabchips in coral form. ever nice
what is 'fusion style' ?
Usually fusion style refers to am mixed cuisine. For example mixxing western food with asian food styles. Hope I am right @knozaki2015

Oh my gosh! The food looks so awesome! And that drink was beautiful. I wish I could have tasted the fried spring roll! I love vietnamese food. Hope your dining experience was out of this world for you.

the reason is, that I already have been to better restaurants in hanoi ;) it was a great restaurant, but i have been taken by locals to such incredible restaurants..
Good to see your still in Asia - that is my next port of call in the future. BTW here is my knozaki2015 style post as promised - I used my airmiles as my # Cool eh? Not much to the post really as I'm still shattered from the heat of the Judean desert! Glad to back in the safety of Europe again ... the Poles are looking after me very nicely! Ride safe my friend :)
