What's Left on @Tippy Development
Had a hell of a run over the past week in regards to the coding of the upcoming @Tippy Text-to-Tip service. Most of the user command functionality is basically finished that will be making the first version and it's my hope to launch the service as well as release the tipping engine's code for others to create their own services on top of. Open sourced code was one of the main ways I'd gotten started with my programming en-devours and I'm glad to release something that others may learn from as well as build on top of.
While some would view it as a conflict of interest personally I view it as giving back to a community that has been a solid foundation for me to grow on top of..!
What's Left on @Tippy to Code
- Finish the missed blocks while off scanning (Half or 2/3rds done, needs perfected)
- Create a method to skirt the 20 second posting limit for replies (queue / multi accounts)
- Get memo parsing working to allow for donations and deposits into others accounts
- Perfect the profile fee updating when owner sets fees
- Standardize Tippy call replies and info/stats displays, write user manual
- Get STEEM Blockchain data backup integration (May not make this version)
The version released to the public free will likely have the stats and other novelty bits stripped from it, however if people ask nice I might share some codey bits with them or give them a hand modifying the bot to their own purposes. It's going to be one of the more powerful bots operating on the STEEM network and I'm proud to be creating a service that many users here have expressed interest in! Will keep everyone updated.
Looking for Alpha Testing Volunteers!
In the next few days I'll need a hand to help test the system under load and extra sets of eyes to help me test / break the system so I can re-enforce and secure it. If you are interested in giving me a hand some time this week please shoot me a message below..!
My goal is < 2 weeks to launch the service however when you are dealing with user funds, transfers and public services you can never be too secure or careful. Testing is KEY!

So I did a post on setting your profile pic a few days ago. @klye I was hoping you might let me link it here? And @papa-pepper I know you are always doing helpful and how-to posts, could you take a look at it and give me some critique? And possibly a ReSteem?
I've got er figured out programatically just need to make a function to do it at certain times when the bot owner sets the fee with a command.
