KLYE Witness Update - 2016/12/3
Was having problems with my eyes yesterday and was unable to do much of anything but sleep whilst my eyes felt like they were burning.. Just a reminder to take your contacts out before you fall asleep in front of the computer!

Once again sorry for the late witness update as well as how short it was. Very much playing catch up today after not being able to do much yesterday. Will do a more in depth update next friday.

The basic idea behind a witness update is to let folks know what the witness is working on.
Given that witnesses are paid out in STEEM Power by the network I figure it's only right to let the network know where those STEEM are going towards.

Everyone has their own interpretation of what a witness should do.
I like the idea of weekly updates, so I do them myself and hope other witnesses do the same.
Can I ask that you, as I would like to see witnesses in general do, briefly describe where you stand socially and politically on a few issues of your own choice.
In my opinion, this gives a better understanding of the more personal motivations that could be driving a witness at some point in time.
I signed in to steem.global and have a couple questions.
Is there a place to see the ledger for transactions?
Is there a way to sign out?
On the faucet front page it says:

Does balance grow every day that you sign in? I've tried transferring to poloniex but it never appeared. It's possible I'm doing something wrong. :) Thanks for the witness update :)
It's 0.010 STEEM it's paying out currently.. the "0.001 STEEM FREE" is an artifact left over from late night developing... thanks for letting me know!
I've not made the signout function visible to avoid folks losing passwords, creating multiple accounts trying to game the system and a few other technical reasons. :)
Your balance will gain 0.010 STEEM once a day if you visit the site while logged in.
Poloniex requires you fill in a memo field to send to your account. I left off the memo part intentionally to avoid people directly sending to their poloniex accounts. Serves a far better record of usage if I (and everyone else) can see the names of who's used the faucet.

Ah, okay. I definitely must have screwed up the directions then because I've visited twice, thought I cashed out, and no STEEM. Is the withdrawal address our username then? If so, with or w/o the @?
