Stuck in the Trouble zone 👀
Well about this time i should have been flying home however due to a cyclone on our doorstep my flight got cancelled last night, this is the alert i received this afternoon on my mobile.
Thankfully the place were i am staying lets me stay for extra nights and i am on the 7th floor so if i get flooded the entire city of Auckland is in big trouble!

Today was my last day on my current work assignment so i decided to buy them some morning tea, these muffins were very nice
No Flights/trains or buses are running so i am effectively trapped in Auckland, tried to get a rental car today but could not get one, tonight around midnight is when Auckland us supposed to be hit by Gabrielle so it should be an interesting night.
i just really want to go home to my family...

Sorry to hear that the weather disrupted your travels. At least you are stuck comfortably, and not out there open to the elements. It shouldn't be too long before you are united with your family again. Stay safe.
