See ya Sydney ⛈️✈️ Hello Brisbane ☀️
This morning i got up at 5.30am so i could check out & catch my Shuttle to the Domestic terminal at Sydney Airport, 5 minutes before pick up time i got a email from Qantas saying your flight has been delayed 60 minutes and i would now be flying with Jetstar.
No worries for this kid and i still caught my shuttle and went and checked in and dropped my bag off.
The flight actually left 30 minutes later than scheduled but i was pleased to be flying towards Brisbane, the flight was 70 minutes long and went smoothly.
Once i collected my bag i went to Avis and grabbed my rental car which is a Toyota CHR, its even the Turbo version so look out the people of Brisbane!
Don't like the Color personally but at least it will be easily seen by others and me, it goes really well and i think i want one.
Then i drove 30 minutes to the new Worksite which i will be at for the next 11 odd days, completed my induction and site tour and the place is MASSIVE.
Since my boss forgot to email the documents i needed to start and was not answering his phone i decided to go and check into my accommodation.

After checking in and parking the car i went and took my bags up to my room which is on the 7th floor, its a really really nice apartment which may be a little nicer than the one i stayed in on the Gold Coast.
It has a big shower which i like and the whole apartment is very well equipped, it even has a laundry so i can wash my undies 😆
The kitchen has gas appliances plus a dishwasher which i will put to good use over the next 11 odd days.
It even has a deck which i am sitting on typing this masterpiece out on, the view is not as nice as the one i had on the Gold Coast but it could be worse.
Tomorrow i will be analyzing the video i shot in the Coles supermarkets around Sydney, it should only take 4 hours then i have the rest of day off to relax or explore a little.
That has been my busy day here in Australia.

Jacob is back home in NZ enjoying the start of the school holidays.
I asked him and his sister if they wanted to come to Australia but they are quite happy at home with their mumma
What? you only ask the two of them and not their mother... 😸
it seems like their mother makes them very comfortable... mother is number one and the best👍🌼
The original plan was to fly mumma over for 5-6 days and i was even go to fly her first class.
I had her mother in law ready to come look after the kids..but my partner wanted to stay at home as its our daughters birthday on 15 July.
The plan is we will go to somewhere like Fiji for a holiday later this year

July 15th is my wedding day too... There are many good things on that day... Happy Birthday to her, I hope she gets what she wants and becomes a daughter who makes her parents proud... 👸🎂
