Today has been a busy day for this Kiwi on the Gold Coast Australia but its been a great day all round, i got up at 3.45am and was once again at work by 4.58am ready to start.

Lots of walking around the Distribution Centre chasing high reach trucks so i could get the data i needed, i left there around 2.30pm but still had some video to analyze once i got back to my accommodation.

On the left are the reach trucks which can lift pallets 12M in the air, on the right are the order pickers which i was following around last week.

After i had finished looking at the video and sending my data i had a sauna and a swim which was good fun, then i decided i still have some eggs to use so i went to the supermarket and got some Steak and mushrooms to go with it.

Started cooking it then next minute the smoke alarm was going off in the apartment and i was hoping it would not trigger an evacuation - thankfully it didn't and i opened door and put on the ceiling fan which sorted the smoke alarm out - phew!

Here is my dinner and to be fair the steak could have been cooked a little longer for my liking but i was a but gun shy and just ate it, it was nice and finished the whole thing.

Tomorrow night i have been invited over to some friends apartment since its will be my last night here, they can cook and i will watch.

Tomorrow is my last day on the worksite which is a great place to work, the next job has already been booked and i will fly to Melbourne on the 3rd of June for 2 weeks work.

I have only transited through Melbourne airport so i am looking forward to exploring a new place.
