Freshii good but expensive
Given I was downtown and it's my first day off I decided to eat out. I didn't want to eat something unhealthy so I went to a salad place called freshi.
It's really great in terms of both flavor and health but I did find it expensive. I just got the wrap with no drink but you have to pay extra to get meat. So it was $8.50 and $3.50 to add steak. So after tax it ended up being over $13. Which seems expensive when you don't get a side or drink.
The one I got is called metaboost:
spinach, kale & field greens, goat cheese, mango, almonds, carrots, edamame, balsamic vinaigrette
Food seems so expensive nowadays ...
You could check out subway. I can recommend the steak & chease. Or if you want healthier just the veggi one ;-)
I like the option to make a sub a salad.
Problem is if you ask for the sub of the day as a salad they won't give you the discount.
Seems pretty stupid to me.
