Himeji castle (PART4)
Shachi is an imaginary animal that the figure is a fish, the head is a tiger, the tail fin always faces the sky, and the back has several sharp thorns on its back.
It was regarded as the guardian deity of the building.
This is made of shachi with tiles.
Himeji Castle daitenshu has 11 shachi.
Unfortunately there is only one shachi at the time of construction.
The current shachi is made using it as a model.

Himeji castle is a beautiful structure and the shachi adds to its intricacy. I'm glad that they were able to reproduce the shachis with the remaining original one. It is sad when the originals deteriorate with time. I loved your video of the various pictures with the wonderful music. Good job!
Thank you.
I also want shachi to protect Himeji castle from now on.
