Doing Some Coffee Research

Went to One Utama mall for the Coffee Festival 2019. Overall the event was not that big with the main players Aristo and Nespresso being the largest sponsors for the event with equivalent big booths. The crowd was good too with lots of people queuing up for free coffee. While for me, I had started to love coffee since very young age but now I want to up the game to another level by thinking of ways to create revenue stream through coffee. So one way to get that happen is to establish a cafe. The intention is clear and so I came here to get contacts to fill up the supply chain so that I could get my coffee serve fresh to the end user or to business entity. So far, I get the contacts for raw materials supplier whereby they provide beans, syrups, powders and so on to the business. They also provide service to help craft out the drinks with their raw materials with the business entity which I think is the answer for me to create a menu. If not, I only have idea to make simple espresso, latte or cappuccino which is not enough to make my cafe menu interesting. Next up is the machines, where I need to see the coffee machine with double boilers, grinder and all other accessories. For a commercial set up, average would be around 15k to 20k for a basic set up. This will include service like tutorial on how to maintain the machines. Most of the warranty are 1 year which I would say by that time, we already need to break even and profit. Thus far, the materials I get were helpful and will be contacting the vendors again for more details.
