Up up and away! Balloon Photography
My husband and I live in a little town in Central Illinois, USA. Every year one of the smaller surrounding towns has a balloon festival. People come out and fly their balloons. It's a spectacular thing to witness.
I wasn't able to get any photos from the air, but I was able to get some close ups. Being there and hearing the fire blow and the excitement of the pilots, and spectators is quite a thing to experience! I tried to capture that in my photos.
I'm not too sure how many people participate, but I do know that people come from all over the state and surrounding states to fly.
I had so much fun taking these photos with my Cannon SLR camera, I hope you enjoyed looking at them!
