Steemit and Teaching Writing Collaboration
It is well known that Steemit has been a phenomenon since 2016. It has been able to spread its influence to every single part of the world. The booming of the users [stemians] is really significant. The application for new accounts is remained high. The impact of rewards has positive correlation on people interest of being part of steemit.
I am personally is quite a new comer in the steemit platform. I heard and knew about it by the end of 2017. Therefore, I have such limited knowledge and experience about this platform. I believe that by doing, I will learn. Since I start my writing activity on steemit, I also start the new semester teaching on campus. Fantastically, I am going to teach writing classes. Suddenly, I though it would be great to have students [@conecandy, @dwsrtika98, @masrura, @nisrinaarzha], on steemit and integrate the writing activities in the steemit platform. By the, I have encouraged students to apply for a steemit account. Well, the responses are good. So, we rock the steemit. Yes, having steemit as part of my writing classes. I expect, lots of benefits are coming to us [students][@nurulaulia98, @oviladitaherliza].
Integrating the steemit into writing class, I believe would have tremendous impacts on students writing skill. They will be assigned regular [on daily basis] posting to increase their writing productivity. It is the most priority since the facts that writing is the challenging habit among students on campus. Encouraging students [@zurrahmah, @zawilmarjan, @ziaulhaqid] to post simple and 200-250 words writing would train them to enjoy and be "friend" with writing. This cultural deadlock "stay" inside students soul and mind. Therefore, doing the writing on steemit will force them practice the writing. It is very complicated to influence and change the "laziness" habit to write.
Collaborating both the classroom and the Steemit blog is highly important. The availability of time in classroom might be short but being in the Steemit platform could be pretty long and at anytime. Indeed, it is very positive to integrate steemit into teaching writing. Beside students are learning the writing skill, they are also learning the world, knowledge, social issues, etc. Posting on steemit is sometime simple and fun, so writing is about to write. Steemit will accommodate [many more] students to learn.
The writing is not super duper long or perfect BUT do your best and lets readers decide!

The idea of integrating the writing class and steemit basically simple, inviting students into the "craziness phenomenon" on the internet. The motivation is please write, do not care whether it is long or perfect. Students have to force themselves to change the paradigm of just writing when there is a writing assignment [a paper]. Turning this mainstream which is strongly planted into students heads [at least at my department not a generalization].
Writing is about enjoy it, then practice and be part of it...
My expectation of integrating teaching writing with Steemit that students will produce many writings [postings]. Finally, they will get rewards [expecting].
Have a good rest.

I like your concept, A LOT! I think it is such a great way for kids to get involved in this community as well as practicing their writing skills.
It might be useful to have a common topic so, we the reader can have a sense of contenueaty.
Thank you my friend. Having steemit is really helpful mainly in writing class. We can encourage them to practice and keep writing. Lets do bro @thomaskatan.
I amazed at how you encourage students to write. Especially for me, I didn't expect being addicted in writing. no matter whether paid or not. haha
Hahaha....it is a true fact of how we mostly hate writing. Unfortunately, writing is a good way to share our thought to people. Try to being addicted to writing. Hehehe
Great idea to apply. I am waiting that one of English department of our university conducts his/her research on Steemit phenomena. It must be cool. LOL
I think there will be soon @affiedalfayed. This is one of interesting issues.
