Kursi merupakan barang perabot yang dibuat oleh manusia sebagai tempat duduk.
Banyak manfaat kursi bagi kehidupan manusia.
Kalau kita lihat kursi, tidak lah begitu berlebihan nilainya.
Tapi pengaruhnya sungguh luar biasa.
Dari taman kanak- kanak hingga perguruan tinggi menggunakan jasa kursi untuk proses belajar mengajar.
Restoran, halte, kantor, bus, kereta api, kapal laut, bahkan pesawat terbang juga menggunakan kursi.

Kursi juga dipakai dalam setiap acara.
Dalam acara pesta perkawinan, para undangan, dan pengantin juga menggunakan jasa kursi.
Pada acara pertemuan, seminar, mit up, juga menggunakan jasa kursi.
Begitu besarnya pengaruh kursi, seorang calon anggota dewan, harus membutuh kan suara pemilih ratusan bahkan ribuan orang untuk mendapatkan satu kursi.
Baik itu melalui partai maupun indenpenden.
Seorang calon kepala negara maupun perdana menteri juga demikian.
Hanya kursi Raja yang tidak di perebutkan, karena merupakan pemerintahan tirani yang tidak diberikan pada orang lain, melainkan pada pewaris takhta maupun kerabat sendiri.
