I have been on Steemit for a few months now but I never actually made a post introducing myself.

My name is Kenan. I have been living in China for 3 years (going on 4). My Chinese is decent but I think it can get a lot better!

我叫Kenan. 我是加拿大的侨民。你们中国人可以叫我 “柯南” 哈哈哈。我注册Steemit几个月前但是我还没自我介绍。我住在中国3年了（今年是我第四年）。我的中国话还可以不过我认为我可以越来越更好。

I have a website named www.SimplyElated.com where I post blogs and sell my own eBook about depression and anxiety. In China, I am a math, science and business teacher!

I've recently gotten interested in filming and photography. China is a wonderful places to take photos because there is so much to document and share with the world. This pic below is just a few minutes from my apartment. Great view and a serene atmosphere.

I think Steemit has HUGEEEE potential! It is still in beta testing so there are still going to be some bugs and annoyances. If we focus on building a strong community, I think this site could redefine social media. Reddit is so powerful because it has a strong community. People aren't just trying to scavenge for attention or likes; people are interacting. I hope we can all see this and do the same thing. I know everyone wants to make money, but if you really want to make money, it is important that we don't just dump our own content and ask everyone to upvote us. That just makes the site boring, shady and hostile.
我认为Steemit有特别大的潜力！目前在beta测试所以还有问题和烦恼。如果我们集中建立一个强大的社区的话，我认为这网站能革命化社会媒体。Reddit有强因为有强大的社区。人不只要自己关注和点赞；人喜欢互动。我希望我们可以发现这个，做一样。我知道每个人要挣钱不过你真想挣钱的话，不要只关注我们自己的内容和点赞。这种行为让网站变无聊，黑和敌对。
