Eco responsible Double Helix building that can absorb 130 tons of co2

Today we shall talk about a revolutionary concept of residential eco-construction with the sole purpose of prioritizing and maintaining mutual relation of human being and nature inspired by a double helix structure of DNA. It is named Tao Zhu Yin Yuan.
Without any further delay, let us dig into the facts-
Tao Zhu Yin Yuan is designed by Vincent Callebaut Architectures and developed by BES Engineering Corporation.

It is also known by the name of Agora Garden.

It is situated in the heart of Taipei city, Xinjin district, Republic of China (Taiwan)

It is 21-story apartment building which is Eco-designed to represent the perfect fusion between Climate, Landscape and Architecture.

It is planned that about 23000 trees and shrubs will cover the building which will absorb an expected amount of about 130 tonnes of co2.

But that's not it, the building will be Eco-conceived by having natural lighting and ventilation for core and the basement, rain water recycle.

It will also have renewable energies in the form of solar roof and canopies, the automation for the energy saving, and lifts that utilizes energy-saving regenerative drives.

The designer of the building Vincent Callebaut had the sole goal to help deal with the pollution in cities.

This project is due to complete by September 2017.
According to recent study, by 2050, there will be nine million of human beings on our planet earth and 80% of the world population will live in what we today call mega cities. So, it’s high time to invent new Eco-responsible lifestyles and add magic to our cities in order to increase the quality of our life.
