ancient Saint Cross Monastery in Poland

Said to be built in 11th century, atop the mysterious holy Bald Mountain, in the place of an ancient pagan temple - Temple of the Seven Circles of Time, ruined by the Franks in the 9th century. There's still a piece of pre-Christian fortifications surrounding the monastery.
As in the ancient times, it is still a place for pilgrimage. For what else is Catholicism, if not the Neolithic fertility cult of the Great White Goddess?
