How I did REALLY well my first week on Steem
Short & sweet here, folks. But worth sharing!
I have a reward count that still has me blinking in disbelief now. (I know it will fluctuate a bit and that the payouts will be divided up as well, but still! I didn't dream of hitting that so quickly! I remember my first day I was super excited to make 60 cents, lol. I texted my mom about it.)
Here is how I ended up doing pretty dang well my first week here:
- I put into the practice the very true reality that I like people and like interacting in an authentic way.
- I hustled and got right to work posting articles and bits of my music and writing, as well as commenting on others' posts and starting real conversations.
- I focused on making the best content I could, and being honest and clear about what I care about.
- The hard fork happened..
- PEOPLE ON STEEM ARE AMAZING AND SUPPORTIVE AND HAVE HELD ME UP IN WAYS INCOMPARABLE TO ANYTHING I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.*
*note the obnoxious and emphatic all caps

This is an amzing community. I have really high hopes for the future here. Was pretty much burned out on almost all other platforms to the point of not really using them any more due to spam and trolls. The only place where I still post content daily is Youtube because it was the only place where I could post my recipe videos and grow a fairly responsive audience. So far this is much better and with out trolls.

I'm so happy that i can express my support by upvoting content and and make someone wealthier. It's great. It's magic. While the cryptomarket is growing steemit can support that magical stream. Happy hours ladies and gentlemen, enjoy that moments and do your best.

A few times a day, actually. And I talk to a lot of people--mostly just encouraging them to throw themselves into the platform and bragging about how good it is! Which is all true!
Awesome! I am trying to come up with blog or posts that are quality and not take a few mere minutes to make like I see a lot in the new section :/ What are your thoughts on that??
I'm a fast writer, to be honest, but I've also spent a LOT of time reading and thinking and writing for years, so it feels accessible to me to write good content relatively quickly. That said, I do spend a lot of time at it still. That works for me, but just go with whatever works for you! xx

Congratulations! It is also my first week and i'm amazed, amazing community with great content. This really inspired me to share some of my thoughts and ideas, this is the best project i've seen in a while.
