A gorgeous floor, my feet, and thoughts on living with hope & beauty
Without being melodramatic, I'll be frank: I've had a lot of disappointments in my life, sometimes on repeat at such an alarming rate it has stolen my breath.
So have you--I know.
But you know what? There has always also been so much beauty woven into the whole picture along the way that I could never say I would ask for a different life, or even different sections of life; it's never that simple. Life is too complex and mysterious for such a foolish wish; one piece affects every other piece in ways we can't begin to fathom.
These feet have walked so many roads and carried me through so many adventures, and have enabled me to seek beauty around so many corners and in so many crevices.
In spite of the challenges, if we look for it, there is so much good to keep fighting and living for. And today I am very thankful for so, so much good.

Hi Kay, nice to meet you. This is a good philosophy and as you get older it gets even more important to remember. My life has had many ups and downs, but I wouldn't trade anything. Everything I have gone through has made me what I am today. And I'm happy, so that's not too bad. Nice to see a good post and good luck with your music. I will follow you to see your upward path :)
