This is one of my favorite photos I have taken.
As I said in my previous post: https://steemit.com/animalphotography/@katysavage/daily-birding-6-steemitphotochallenge-entry I feel that male plumage usually takes the spotlight leaving the females underrepresented. I really love the patterning in the female Mallards as well as in other duck species.
Planning to get a post out about my shooting technique this next week.
