VILLA ESCUDERO is one of the BEST Heritage Resort in the Philippines.

I had always wanted to travel and see the different beauty God has created and experience different cultures and be with different types of people, thus experience life as others have seen it. Before I will post my other travels,I wanted to kick - off and boast on a place where "Where Filipino History and Culture Come to Life". Yes, experience a bit pf the Philippines in one setting and just a few hours away from Metro Manila.

If you are looking for a place to get away for the weekend overnight or day tour, Villa Escudero is a place for you.

Villa Escudero is a “coconut” Plantation Resort where you can have a first-hand experience of Filipino culture and heritage, founded in the 1880s by Don Placido Escudero and his wife Dona Claudia Marasigan.
The resort is so lovely, homely and cozy that you would want to spend a night or more in the resort, but if you would just like to have a few hours off from the busyness of the city they also accept days tours. Their main attraction is their Waterfall Restaurant, Bamboo Rafting, Museum Tour and many other activities that will surely make fall in love with the Philippines and the Filipino culture more.

Cottages varies and can accommodate from 4pax - 12pax. They have longhouse unit (non-aircon), executive longhouse (aircon), riverside unit (non-aircon), executive riverside (aircon) and the presidential suite (aricon). As for me and my travel buddy we took the longhouse (non-aircon). It was not bad it has two single beds with its own comfort room and has a loft, the room cam accommodate up to 6 people.

Rate ranges from 1450 - 1600 depending on the time on the day and on the month of the year.
Peak Season is from Dec - Aug
Non-Peak Season is from Sept - Nov
Cultural Show for Peak season will be from Thursdays to Sundays/Holidays
