Another sad loss 😢 another visit to the Dentist 🦷 with a nice treat to finish the day 🍰.

We had a sad night last night, 13 days ago we lost one of our little furry friends Ash the Hamster, thankfully she died in her sleep so didn't suffer at all. Last night another of our little furry friends left us Amara the Rat. She has been ill for a while, it never bothered her she still ate and drank but as the days went on she got slowly worse. We think she may have had a stroke as she couldn't move her body just her head and front paws, we knew she didn't have long so mad her comfortable and gave her so much love, we kept feeding her and giving her water. She has never been a friendly rat, not one we could cuddle and play with, she has always been shy. Since being poorly she has seemed to enjoy the cuddles and us stroking her. Nichola had just checked on her, i went in 5 minutes later, she had gone.

She is the last little furry pet we will have, i don't want anymore little ones as they don't live very long and break my heart. We have had so many little furry animals all we will always remember and miss. We still have our 2 pups Geordie, Mika and Luna plus Nichola's new feathered friend Sprout. We have to still bury little Amara, its been raining all day, hopefully we can do it tomorrow when its dry.

We have helped Nichola tidy out her room and get rid of the cages as there will be no more moving in, if we keel the cages there would always be a temptation, not when we don't have a cage as there not cheap. Nichola has so much more room now she says her room feels empty.

I had my dentist appointment this morning, up far to early than i am used to. I had to go in for my mouth guard fitting, wasn't expecting how messy it was. My Dentist fitted for both top and bottom then let me choose which one i would prefer. I chose the top set as its the top set that i find i get the pressure from when grinding my teeth. The materials they use to make the mouth guard is thick, you feel like you d aren't swallow in case you swallow some and choke. The dentist kept cleaning it up when it was spilling out. When i got home i still had dry bits on my cheek, i must have looked a right mess. I have to go back to pick up my mouth guard, then hopefully i will be dentist free for quite a while as i have had my fair share of dentists.

Once home i went back to bed for a lie down, i will need the rest once the fireworks start the dogs will be up most of the night panicking.

AND THERE THEY ARE

Th fireworks have started, Mika is wearing her sock but its not working tonight so far, she is panting and barking at every sound, at the minute hubby is hugging her trying to keep her occupied. The fireworks are extra loud tonight with it being Guy Fawkes Night, actually sounds like they are letting them off outside our front door. Its sad as one of the people letting them off has dogs that panics, obviously he doesn't care. I hate seeing an animal suffer, just wish i could find something that will work and keep her calm, i really don't want to sedate her.

I needed a treat tonight, something to cheer me up, i chose something chocolatey, creamy and very naughty... We all had something nice to eat but now feel fat, full and sick but it was delicious and very very naughty.

I did choose Strawberries 1 of my 5 a day, would i order it again NO as it was my belly and not my eyes choosing, did i enjoy it YES the first few mouth fulls were lovely but then my stomach realised what it was and i started to feel bloated and if i had realised how big they were i would have ordered 1 to share not 1 each. Oh well, I know now.

Its bedtime for me now, no getting up early tomorrow and hopefully the fireworks would have stopped. I doubt it.
