Mekitsi Bread Snacks
Mekitsi bread is a Bulgarian fried dough snack. These little guys are perfect for the morning. Waking up to the smell of freshly made bread. The ones we have here are just plain dough, but if you wanted to make a even more savory treat, you can always add some crumble white cheese or feta cheese in the middle and roll it up before frying em up. As you can see the shapes are all irregular. No need for perfect shapes. Which is part of the fun. The kids will dig through for the biggest or longest one, etc.

Oh I love fresh bread too. By the way, we too have many traditional Indian breads like this one. Without any filling of course. Fillings are optional :)
