You're doing great for only being two days old--my biggest advice is to engage with as many people as you can, and make sure to keep an eye on new posts that you think show potential. Engaging with those in a constructive/funny/memorable way can go a long way.
About the new posts, this would be so that if the post goes "viral", right? Thats what you mean by potential right? I get it, More visibility!!

Yup-- that's what I meant by potential! part of your job as a steemian is to curate as well as to create. That's where a lot of the rewards come from (I'm actually really bad at this--I mainly just create.)
