Picture Stories #152 - Unique Bush
We come across so many interesting plants we've not seen before during our lifetimes, and observing them allows us an opportunity to enjoy the variety and variations we find so abundantly in nature. This 'different' bush shown in the pictures below is called an "Australian Garden", and it stands out not only for being peculiar looking, but its color too is magnetic and appealing in a unique way.
Most of the bushes and grasses we see in the wild happen to be green, but sometimes we come across plants as shown in the picture above that are uniquely different yet very much an integral part of our surroundings!
Have you seen this plant before?

This is a bush? :)) I thought it was a moss :)) I do not think I could have met this plant, but plants of this color meet :)) I'm sorry I'm not strong in plants! :) but for example my friend in the garden has plant, we call it "bear ear". it seems to me that this is a plant of similar color :)

Isn't that a "lamb's ear" (Stachys byzantina)? At least this one is soft and fluffy just like it looks - many plants that look as if they should be pleasant to touch are actually hard and prickly :o)
unfortunately I do not know what name is correct:))) but these leaves are really soft and fluffy:)))
I've never seen anything like this my friend nature always surprises us in some way, I think I've learned more with you than with National Geographic 🤣👍
My first impression - some version of tumbleweed or overgrown reindeer lichen :o)
That is rather unique! I'm kind of scared of it in a way lol
haha, it's not that scary :D
A very unique, beautiful photo, I've never seen this before.

That is really unusual bush, when my husband was in Australia he has seen a lot of them on coast and the local people call it Cushion bush, but correctly its called Leucophyta brownii. Australian nature both vegetation and animals are amazing. Thank you @jznsamuel for sharing this unique plant :)
