When I had visited the bird park in Singapore, I was looking at some of the items for sale in the souvenir shop and I came across this interesting pair of mementos shown in the pictures below. The box comprised of a statue of a flaming hot flamingo as well as a palm tree, and they did seem to make a lovely pair. Although I didn't end up buying these souvenirs, because I've decided not to stock up on unnecessary items I'm eventually not going to end up using, I did take a moment to appreciate the lovely design and craftsmanship on these pieces which would definitely make for a lovely gift.

We often end up buying such items during our travels to present as unique gifts to our friends and relatives, but more often these items just end up lying in a corner of our houses and we don't use it.

Given a choice, you'd like to be gifted the flamingo or the palm tree?
