We are controlled by our governments, by lows and by traditions.
Why we have to marry religious? Why we have to wear a costume when it's halloween? What about valentine's day?
What about Spinners or Kendama?
I think this photo says a lot! (I also have 2 spinners 😂)

No, you are not the only one. It's a bitter truth and we all have to accept it.
In the ancient times, rich people used to buy slaves and now we are slaves of ourselves, paying credit card bills, rents, 9-5 job and not speaking against an unseen power who is controlling us.
And putting all of us in such a monotonous routine where we will not be able to even think such kind of truths.

I like how that image looks like the spinner and the ripple symbol. How about this for a theory: I think the spinner was created to secretly influence our future generation to use the ripple token and blockchain. Bank are trying to survive to stay relevant in the rising crypto currency world. The spinner (which is pretty much useless btw) was created to get seeded deeply into our youths sub consious, a brilliant tactic if you think about it because it's only a matter of time before all banks start using the ripple blockchain.
Anyways, don't mind me i'm just speculating. But to answer your question, yes the goverment needs to find ways to control us because they need us. But do we need them?When we will start using smart contracts, the government will be pretty much useless.
