The Black Balloons
One day, a little black boy looked at a balloon shop in the street. His eyes shone. There are balloons of all colors: red, blue, white, black, and yellow! What a magnificent spectacle for this child amazed by so many colors and balloons.
The balloon seller, aged, sighted the boy, eyes wide open and gaping, hesitant who ended up approaching seller.
"Say, sir, do the black balloons fly as high as the others?" "
The man wrinkled and moved by such innocence.
He crouched down and took the little boy in his arms and placed it on a low wall just behind him.
He replied: "Look"
He opened his hand to let out all his balloons that flew away in clusters to disperse in the sky at the whim of the wind.
And the balloons went up and up, so high and so far away that they no longer saw them.
" You see? Asked the old man.
"Yes," the astonished boy nodded.
"Have the black balloons gone up as high as the others?" "
" Yes sir! Replied the child, whose eyes shone with a thousand lights.
"You see, my boy, the balloons, it's like men. The important thing is not their color, it is not the exterior. No, the important thing is WHAT'S ON. It is what is in you that will make all the difference in your life. "
The grown-up boy never forgot this lesson
